Don't Tread On Us

Okay, so the Tea Party likes to use that piece of shit yellow "Don't Tread On Me" flag. It's known as the Gadsden flag.

Anyhow I was bored today and saw a post from like a year ago on RevLeft of a user suggesting a leftist version of this silly flag.

So I thought about it. I remembered reading somewhere about ants grouping together and defeating larger enemies, including snakes, and immediately though that an ant would be a great image for the communal anarchist and communist revolutionaries this is meant to represent.

I was going to draw the original flag with the snake still alive but covered in ants. As you can see I took the lazy (and less cluttered) path.

If you can't really tell, the ant is on top of a severed Gagsden flag snake head, which is in a pool of blood.

The text on the Gadsden flag says "Don't Tread On Me", so I made a slightly more collective version of that phrase, to go with the imagery of ants defeating stronger opponents.
